How to Make Himalayan Sea Salt and Watermelon Infused Water

The addition of Himalayan sea salt adds a unique and delicate flavor to the infused water and the benefit of minerals and trace elements the salt contains.

Ingredients

• 4 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
• 1 tsp Himalayan sea salt
• 1/2 lime, thinly sliced
• Ice water

Instructions

1. In a large pitcher, combine the watermelon cubes and Himalayan sea salt.
2. Using a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon, gently press down on the watermelon to release its juice.
3. Stir in the lime slices.
4. Add ice water and stir gently to combine.
5. Allow the ingredients to infuse in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours for maximum flavor.
6. Before serving, stir the infusion to redistribute the salt and taste the water. Add more salt if needed.
